A:  DreamLine recommends that your shower base be appx. 2" larger than the size of your shower door when considering a hinged or pivoting shower door. In the case of the Unidoor shower door that you have referenced, you would want to look at a 47" shower base. That is an unusual size, however, and not one that DreamLine makes. We would recommend that you take your measurements for your shower base from the studs, then purchase and install a shower pan based on those measurements. After you have installed the base and finished your walls, then you should measure your finished opening for your shower door. DreamLine makes shower doors in a wide range of sizes and we are confident that we have one that will fit your finished opening.
