The absolute maximum width tolerance for this model is 60", so right out of the box, the top and bottom rails will fit an absolute maximum width of 60" and we do not make longer top or bottom rails. The side with the ClearMax coating will be marked with a small blue sticker/decal and this is the side that you will want to have facing into the shower. A:  Yes, you can install the Encore shower door on top of a tub as long as (1) your tub curb is wide enough for the bottom rail (must be 2-1/4" wide), and (2) you have enough clearance to install the tub so that nothing will hit your ceiling during installation.
