A:  There should not be too much of a rattle with these doors because they are held pretty snug within the guide block at the bottom. There's a little bit of wiggle room to allow the doors to move, but not much. Also, these doors are thick and heavy 5/16" thick tempered glass, so they do not have a lot of deflection. A:  Unfortunately, the height of the Encore shower door cannot be increased to 80" and the 76" height is the maximum height that we offer. There is an option for smoke gray glass. To get this option for the smoke gray glass, you will need to change the model number to SHDR-166076G-06. Thank you for your interest in DreamLine!

A:  The Encore will ship on a pallet containing a box for the glass and a box for the hardware. The largest box will be the glass box which will be approximately 34"(W) x 80"(L). The hardware box will be approximately the same length, but much narrower and lighter weight. A:  The bottom of the shower must be perpendicular to the sides. The wall and the base need to as close to 90 degrees as possible. The door works great. I am using it with a commercial shower floor  and “marbleized” sides

A:  All DreamLine shower doors are made of high-quality tempered safety glass. Tempered safety glass is incredibly strong, but it can break if it is not installed, handled, and/or used properly. In rare instances where the glass does break, it will break all at once into thousands of tiny cubes. This is the industry standard for all products that are made of tempered glass (shower doors, table tops, etc.).
