Q:Can this be installed close to the ceiling or flushmount? Can LED bulbs be used?

A:  Hi, The AC10842 hanging system does not allow for flushmount installation. Downrod only. There are LED T3 bulbs on the market which would fit the socket. They would have to be compatible with the included remote dimmer if it is being used, or wired direct without the receiver. Thank-you
