Q:do your pull chain lights work with British voltage?

Answer This Question
A: This fixture will probably handle 220v just fine as long as your total power draw (wattage) is not beyond what it was designed for, your problem is that it was never tested or approved for such voltage. As such, should you have any issues and a fire occurs, your insurance will never cover it as you used a product that was not licensed/approved for such use.

A: Hi and thanks for your question. This 1-Light Pull Chain Ceiling Light is designed for use in a 110 volt application that is the standard in the United States. The common voltage in Britain is in the 220 volt range, so this light fixture is not designed to tolerate that high of a voltage amount, the wiring and internal construction of this fixture not designed to handle.
