Q:can this be used with my existing delta valve?

A:  Hello svo, Thank you for your question regarding the Delta Vero Shower T14253-SS Trim. As long as the screw holes on your large round escutcheon plate are at the 1 and 7 o'clock positions and you do not have a push button shower diverter directly below the off and on handle, then any of our trim kits that start with a T13 or a T14 will interchange for you. The cartridges that come with the new trim kits will not fit your valve body, so you will need to reuse your existing cartridge (RP19804). Best regards, Tanya

        A:  Thank you for your question, Atf! The MultiChoice R10000 Valve is sold separately. The most common versions are the UNBX, or UNWS as these work with 1/2" sweat or threaded piping.           Q:We are in the process of a remodel. This will be a completely new installation from scratch using Pex lines and fittings. There will be no tub. I would like to use the T17T253-RB. I would also like to add a matching hand held sprayer. Can you tell me exactly all the parts that we will need so that we are able to use the shower head and the hand held sprayer simultaneously or individually? Also can this item be installed in the ceiling? If so, what parts do I need exactly?

          A:  Hi, JSmooth! Thank you for your question. The Delta Monitor T14253-RB shower trim kit will require a Delta MultiChoice Universal R10000 Rough-In Valve Body. We do recommend to purchase the matching Diverter Trim kit, T11853-RB, with the Diverter Valve Body, R11000. The unit can be installed at the ceiling. We recommend a ceiling-mount shower arm.                 Q:Does this shower head spray only in a rain like way or can you get harder, pulsating spray as well?

                A:  Hi, Ralph! Thank you for your question. The shower head included in the Delta T14253-RB shower trim kit does only have one setting which is the Full Spray. This has a flow rate of 2.50 gpm @ 80 psi. There is not a way to change the setting for this shower head. Best Regards, Rosanna

                  A:  Sprays only like rain. Also, sprays like a super restricted low flow head. I am very disappointed with this heads performance for the price.
