A: Hi John,
Thank you for your question about the Delta Faucet model T14253-RB.
Shower-only R10000 valve roughs include models R10000-UNBXHF and R10000-UNWSHF with stops. Any other model of R10000 can also be used by blocking the tub outlet.

Q:I think our contractor installed this correctly. When off the handle points at the ‘C’. I noticed the water does not get very hot. The handle only turns until it is straight up and down not pointing at the ‘H’. Could this be the reason why the water does not get hot?

Answer This Question
A: Hi!
Thank you for your question! I will be happy to help. No, the handle will not turn all the way to point to the "H". However, you will need to adjust the rotational limit stop of the cartridge in order to allow more hot water into the mix. We have How-To videos at www.youtube.com/deltafaucet. Please contact us directly if you are in need of further assistance!

Tim
