Thank you for your question. The spout body, handle, and base plate are metal. However, we do not have an exact breakdown of the faucet materials. In general, the faucet may contain Bronze, Brass, Zinc, and/or Stainless Steel.

Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your question, Don. You may add a spray attachment to the spout. However, it is up to you to ensure a water-tight seal, and you may need an additional gasket or adapter. The thread size on the spout is 15/16"-27.
Best regards,
Jon

Q:I ordered and received this item. The ad photos show only two tubes running down the center: One for hot water and one for cold water. However when my faucet arrived, I noticed it has two extra short tubes and the instructions show those tubes connect to a sprayer. I do not have sprayer which is why I ordered this particular faucet to begin with, as it showed ONLY the faucet and no sprayer in the pictures. Do you HAVE to use those sprayer tubes? Can this faucet be installed without using those sprayer tubes or will it leak from the ends of those sprayer tubes if you don't connect them to a sprayer? I'm having to hire someone to install this and don't want to make an appointment if I don't have the correct model I need. The instructions are extremely hard to understand with so many different languages and photos and the way it's folded. I'm hoping I don't have to make a 3 hour round trip to return this faucet. My old faucet only has one bolt holding it on - I need to get it replaced asap. Thank You for your help, Pam

A: Dear InWaiting,
Thank you for your question. The Delta Collins Kitchen faucet 140-SS-DST is not designed with a side sprayer assembly, so the third tube comes already capped off.
Best regards,
Tanya

A: Just use the two tubes for hot and cold! Ignore the other connections for a sprayer.

Q:What exactly is "Diamond Seal Technology"?

Answer This Question
A: The Diamond Seal Technology is a valve that helps eliminate water's contact with potential contaminants once the water enters the faucet.

A: Hi Ron,
Thank you for your question. Diamond Seal Technology (DST) faucets have a cartridge with ceramic discs, and one of them is coated with diamond to ensure long-lasting use. DST models also feature InnoFlex PEX waterways, which eliminate the need for intermediate riser hoses, resulting in fewer leak points.
Best regards,
Jon
