Q:The drain stopper will not stay closed nor can I remove the stopper to clean and/or clear the drain.

A: Just a little more about the drain stopper. I went on YouTube & found a couple of videos on how to remove the stopper. A little complicated but doable, I think. It seems that it has to be disconnected from a rod under the sink to remove it. Mine is in the utility room so doesn't get hair clogs, etc., so hopefully I won't have to remove it. One video has a woman doing it & I've torn apart my faucets when they start to leak to replace the parts inside, thanks to YouTube videos, so good luck.

A: My drain stopper stays closed beautifully & I hadn't tried to take the stopper out until I read this question so I tried to remove mine & could not. Interesting. I would guess that a call to the company may let us know whether it is removable or not & how to do it without breaking it. A plumber installed mine so I didn't notice how the stopper part was put together.

A: Hi, Mom.
Thank you for your question. I am sorry to hear that you are experiencing an issue with your Delta B510LF faucet drain assembly. The stopper can be removed by first unscrewing the pivot seal and gasket from the horizontal rod in the drain pipe. Once the horizontal rod is removed from under the sink, the stopper can be removed from above the sink to clean.
Best Regards,
Rosanna

Q:Water leaking under the faucet and sink with gasket in place, what causes this?
by|Oct 25, 2018

Answer This Question
A: Helpneeded911, I'm very sorry that you are experiencing a leak below the sink! The gasket under the faucet is intended to prevent water that may be sitting on the counter from seeping under the faucet. If you are experiencing a consistent leak, we would be more than happy to help get this resolved. Please call us at 1-800-345-3358 or email cusotmerservice@deltafaucet.com and reference case number 07754023.

Q:Why does warm water come out when the handle is turned all the way to the cold position ?
by|Jun 28, 2017

Answer This Question
A: Humm... Sounds like either there is no cold water, because the pipes are warm in the house or apartment/condo building and take a long time to cool off, or if it is warm to hot all the time, then the pipe connections are reversed, i.e. the hot water feed pipe is connected to the cold side of the faucet, and vice versa. If the hot water side of the faucet is running cold, then that would prove the connections are reversed. It happens.

Q:Is the spout a screw in type or permanently attached?

Answer This Question
A: I think the spout is permanently attached. I tried several times without success to unscrew the spout, and since others I've owned would have come loose with the same finger force, makes me think it cannot be removed.

A: It is permanently attached.

Q:How long are the pre-attached water lines? I found no mention of this anywhere and didn't even know they were already attached until I looked at the online installation instructions. This should be mentioned in the description especially if the ones attached end up being too short!

A: Hi Homeowner,
Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # B510LF does not include the supply lines for your water hookup. These will need to be purchased separately.
Thanks.

A: Appears to be about 5-6 inches below the faucet. Definitely requires additional feeder lines.

A: The metal pop-up refers to the drain pipe (extending about 8 inches long below the sink) and enclosed drain cover and pop-up stick that opens or closes the drain cover. It includes the metal casing around the sink drain hole, and metal and plastic pop-up drain cover and seal.
