A: The pause feature is not limited in time.

A: Hi, Casey!
Thank you for your question. There is not a time limit on the pause feature. This can be paused for the duration of your shower. This is not a positive shut off, so you will want to turn the water off at your shower valve before exiting your shower.
Best Regards,
Rosanna

A: Thank you for your question, Bob. This is a hand shower assembly only. The hose and mount are sold separately. The 55445 will include a wall mount and hose assembly. A supply connection such as the 50560 Wall Elbow will still need to be purchased separately.
Best regards, Jon

Q:Please confirm that the handle of this product has some type of non-slip grip (specs say handle type is "grip", but don't know exactly what is meant by that; there appear to be some type of ridges on part of the handle; it would be helpful if there were a 360 degree view) to prevent the handle from slipping and sliding in one's hand when wet. Can this handle be connected to any hose, even non-Delta brand, with a half-inch threaded connector? Is the shower head and handle substantially non-metal (i.e., plastic)?

A: Hello Flushed,
Thank you for your questions regarding the Delta H2Okinetic® 5-Setting Hand Shower and I am happy to assist you today.
The hand shower wand handle has grips on the left and right side only and the lines do not extend to the back of the wand.
As you mentioned, as long as the threads on the hose you choose to use has a 1/2" connection, it should be compatible with this model.
This wand does not contain any metallic components.
Please feel free to give us a call if we can assist you with anything else going forward at 800-345-3358.
Thank you,
Brandy

Q:Does this shower head have a removable water restrictor?

Answer This Question
A: Hello LH,
Thank you for your question. While it is possible to remove flow restrictors from showerheads, we strongly advise against it for several reasons. Flow restrictors for faucets are an integral part of most aerators and it is generally not possible or desirable to remove them.
Our showering devices are specifically designed to operate most efficiently at the flow rate controlled by the flow restrictor. Removing the flow restrictor from an showering device will result in improper operation and a very uncomfortable experience.
For water conservation purposes, most plumbing codes require faucets and showering devices to not exceed a certain maximum flow rate. Removing the flow restrictors could cause these devices to longer meet these codes.
Best regards,
Brandis
