Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 594-RBMPU-DST does have a pop-up assembly. You do not have to use the assembly, however we do not make a plug for the lift rod hole.

Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 594-CZMPU-DST does include a 6 1/8" escutcheon plate that may work to cover up your holes. Or you can use soap dispenser for lotion and soap to cover them up. We recommend either model RP50781CZ or RP71543CZ.

A: Hi Omi, Thank you for your question. The model 594-MPU-DST features a metal pop up drain that is operated by a lift rod and linkage assembly. The other type of drain you described is what we call a push pop up drain.
