A: If it is a solid door, "yes." if it is a hollow core door, I believe the answer would be. "no." I do not believe the screws that go through the mounting clip would hold adequately in a hollow-core door. However, if the mounting clip could be located on the solid wood rim around a hollow-core door where the screws can bite into solid wood, it should work.

A: I would use hollow door screws for stability.

A: Hello RavensFan,
You could mount to the back of a door, if the door is solid and the screws will not pull out.

A: Sara, DO NOT buy this!
I purchased the whole shebang. Shower faucets, grip bars, towel bars, towel rings, toilet tissue holder and robe hook. Beautiful, heavy, easy to Install. Problem is they slide off of the 'new design' mounting brackets when you pull the towels off or change the tissue. So heavy they they have chipped my woodwork Had to leave off for fear they wood crack my new tile.
Home Depot is aware as I was told by Home Depot that there is no way to secure to the wall. Really????

A: Thank you for your question. Delta Faucet model # 132889 has a base diameter of 2.36 inches. It does not look like it will work for your application.
