A:  It will attach to wall tile. Will need a drill and bit to drill through the tile for an anchor.

A:  You will need the proper masonry drill bit to drill through the tile without cracking the tile. Then you need the proper anchor to attach the towel ring.

A:  The ring is 6 3/8 in diameter and the mount has a diameter of 2 3/8.

A:  The ring is 6.5" wide and the mount is 2 5/8" wide.

A:  The baseplate diameter is 2 3/8'' and the towel ring diameter has a 6 5/16'' inner diameter and 7 3/8'' outer diameter.

A:  the back of the mount is hollow and not likely to hold well if you applied glue.

A:  I would say, "no." The base of the towel ring is not flat, so it does not have a surface to which the glue can adhere. I am also afraid that the mounting clip would break any glue joint if it was glued to a surface with the substantial pressure generated when the towel ring base is pushed into position.

A:  Due to the mounting brackets I don't think this would be ideal for gluing.

A:  I would use a glue like E6000 to bind metal to wood.

A:  Towel rings are meant to hold either a bath sheet, bath towel, hand towel, finger tip towel or wash cloth. All one size ring. Works great with any towels of any size.

A:  The mounting system is a bad design. It relies on a friction-fit between the base and the wall, so you have to scrape into the paint for it to be secure. Using any kind of an anchor (which you would want to do in a hollow wall) results in a loose fit due to the lip of the anchor. There are other reviews on-line of how bad the Delta Easy Clip system is.

A:  I had no problems installing mine. make sure that the wall bracket is secured thoroughly to the wall and not loose

A:  Try turning it around, it's easier to install.

A:  No trick that I know of. We have two and there was no problem with installation. We did however, use hollow wall screws.

A:  I have had a similar problem. I took the mounting clip off the wall, put it on a board and hit the spring clips with a hammer to tighten them up. Also, if the clip is not mounted solidly against the wall, it will not hold the towel ring base firmly. This can happed when the cheap mollies that come with the towel ring are used. I suggest using a more substantial moly for mounting.
