A: To set the program, press the setup button 2x. You will see "P1" press enter, you will see "SET" Press enter, you will see PRG and make sure all of the days of the week are showing. Press enter, the hour will start flashing. Adjust using the + or - button until you see 6pm. press enter and the minutes will flash. Adjust the same way. Press enter and PRG will appear again. follow the same steps to program the off time. When you finish, you will see SAVE. Press enter and it will go to P2. Now press Auto and it will go back to the present time and you will see the word Auto. On and Off in the screen are the condition of the light at the present time. It will say On during the programmed time.

A: This timer uses a Decora style plate. They are readily available in all HD stores.

A: The programs can NOT overlap each other or the timer will act erratic. You will have to change the time twice a year for Daylight Saving Time.

A: As long as the LED lighting is dimmable, then it can work.

A: Backing up Josh's response:
This timer apparently "leaks" some small amount of current when in its "off" mode, not enough to get an incandescent filament to illuminate, but enough to cause an LED to flash momentarily - about once per second with my fixture.
So no, this unit is not designed for LEDs - and I can only imagine that, over the course of a year, this switch would leak enough current when off to register some cost on your electric bill.

A: No, it cannot. I was using it to control some fixtures with LED bulbs and this switch would not turn them off completely. I called support and was told this switch will only work with incandescent bulbs; CFLs will not work either.
