Answer This Question
A: Thank you for your inquiry. Our Defender cameras do not come equipped with a microphone. You can purchase a separate microphone kit and add it to the system by connecting to the Audio input on the back of our DVR’s. Once installed you can then select which channel you would like audio recorded to. Please check your local laws before installing a microphone to ensure you can legally record another person voice without their consent.

A computer or Internet is not a requirement to view your system on site. You would only require a display that has either a VGA or RCA input so that you are able to view all of your cameras.
