Q:can these brackets be used in angles from one post to another post...under stand they will work for stairs..

Answer This Question
A: As far as using on 1-1/2 wide piece, cut at an angle so the piece angles horizontally from the side of the post...it really does not work since the angled edge is now much greater/wider than the 1-1/2 inch space of the bracket. In one of my situations I did use it in a such a situation, but I cut the bracket into two L-shapes, and kind of "made it work" but it is not a great fit or solution.
