A:  I find that crystal at the bottom when the air is warm or near direct lighting.

A:  You can crunch and break the upper portion of the bags that form the crystals. It will still perform and do its job

A:  Mine doesn't have those, yet anyway. We have had them hanging about a week. We just have water in the bottom part.

A:  This will happen when the temperature or humidity level in an area drops sharply.

A:  Once bag is open and starts to work it must be discarded in 4 to 6 weeks, the bag starts to break down and can leak.

A:  It depends on the time of year and the level of moisture in the air. For me, I live on the west coast near the ocean and they last about 6 weeks in the spring and late fall when it rains. During the summer and winter a little longer, some times up to 10 weeks.

A:  I've never tried it in a car, but we did have a few in our 30' boat. It did a great job of keeping it dry! The bag is self contained and the water it collects will not spill out. When the crystals are all gone, toss it in the trash. Give it a shot.

A:  Why would you want to put this in your car? Is there moisture building up in your car that's causing mold and mildew if so what I suggest you do is get you a good cleaner (Odor Ban, Mr Clean, etc) and clean your car out and let the window down for some fresh air.

A:  No, it wouldn't spill. The water drains into the bag at the bottom, and you have to cut it to empty it when you're throwing it away, so I don't think there would be a problem with it spilling. I'm not sure where I would hang it in a car, though, and I think I would find the scent too strong in the small space of a car, but that might not bother you.

A:  Remove hang ups from box, hang them around in moisture affected area and the damp smell will go away and the moisture to after about a few hours to a day. very good product. for larger areas I would recommend using more packs.

A:  I would never hang one of these in a car. The scent of the Fresh Scent is overpowering and would gag you. When I hung them in closets I had to wash all the clothing the bags were next to, they picked up the odor so strongly...There must be a better way to get your car less damp!
