Questions and Answers for DIG 0-14 GPH Adjustable Multi-Stream Emitter Dripper (25-Pack)

A:  These 360-degree adjustable drippers on barb are rated for UV exposure and can last many years in the elements and direct sunlight and will not rot or deteriorate after one year.

A:  the product inlet is 1/4" barb to fit 1/4" microtubing

A:  I'm sorry I don't know what micro tubing is. It will insert in the end of the 1/4 inch tubing. Or, you can poke it into the 1/2 inch tubing - spacing it down the side.

A:  We use this above ground. If installed underground, dirt may get in and cause it to clog

A:  No!

A:  I think dirt would clog the sprayer holes.

A:  Unfortunately not, can only lower the drip rate but it will always have flow. 

A:  Yes, if turned all the way (clockwise).

A:  Yes. You can completely shut off water to an individual dripper (0-14gph)

A:  I believe with low pressure, 25-35 lbs, yes it will completely turn off. 

A:  You might consider using the 1/4" soaker hose for that area instead, it is the fuzzy looking, porous 1/4" tubing by Raindrip, and use a barbed connector to install off the main 1/2" dripline. Or use their blue, full circle fan spray, not adjustable.

A:  To get an equal distribution of water from all of the heads in a 360 degree pattern presumes that there is equal pressure applied uniformly to all openings in all heads. Since that won't be the case, I am not sure you can achieve a 360 degree pattern on all heads with the number of heads you have inserted into the pipe. Also, just so you know, due to vibration, the heads will slightly adjust themselves over time and may even rotate to a much lower delivery setting, and so should be checked every so often. The vibration & pressure will blow the heads off too if inserted loosely. So, I am not sure there is a fix to your problem, except potentially a different approach to the irrigation delivery you are trying to achieve. I would explore dripper hoses or high pressure micro spray heads.

A:  From my research and short personal experience, I put my drippers on a closed loop so pressure is equalized along the entire loop. I have done this with 1/2" poly - 25" on long sides and 14" on short sides (long rectangle) connected to 3/4" main line.

A:  At 25 psi you should be able to run a max of 15 adjustable drip emitters on your ½” poly line at one time. If you are having to rotate the adj. drippers all the way open this could indicate too many emitters on your ½” poly tubing or pressures lower than 25 psi. A:  Our adjustable dripper is not designed to be used inverted. They can be installed overhead just be aware they do not have an anti-leak device so when your irrigation system turns off all water in your supply line will continue to drip out of the emitters. A:  It is possible to set the B25B to a low flow, but it can be very difficult to get the exact measured amount you are looking for. If you are looking for one gallon per hour in any given area, I would recommend using a 1gph PC drip emitter or a button drip emitter. A:  Probably would work. The wall thickness of a larger diameter pipe would need to be the same as the smaller diameter.

A:  No, it only works for 1/2” tubes.

A:  Yes, I have some inserted into a 1" feeder line and it works fine. The one downside in my case is that the 1" line is lying on the ground, so with little vertical clearance the spray does not spread very far from the sprayer.

A:  It does not matter what diameter pipe you use. The pressure rating is important. If you tried 200 psi pipe it would be too ridged and thick for the emitters. Pay attention to wall thickness. Try for a wall thickness like the 1/2" pipe if you can find it.

A:  YES, any drip line
