A: My saw is about five years old. It can only rip about 20 inches. There is a newer Dewalt saw that can rip 24” but it’s triple the price

A: I just went out to the shop and did a measure what the rip capacity was on my saw. Right now with no adjustments to it ,it is23 inches and 5/8 inches. But locutking at by loosing four screws , I think I could make it 24 inches. But I have never had tomake that big of a cut.

A: This is a little bit out of my knowledge but i will give it a try. I would go to the HOME DEPOT web site and order one and when they say they do not have one .It is not your fault. It could be that some in in the ordering department has not put enough buyer pressure on DEWALT to keep them supplied. One would think Thats their is a problem some where. Checked around on the net and I found that this saw was being offered a couple of web sites. My old kajun feeling tell me, if you don,t want my business then i will some where else. .Second I do not think that DEWALT has stop making that model. TRY again at HOME DEPOT. .You never know what might happen . Been dealing with for a long time. Some time going to the store does not work well but it,s hard to say we don,t have one for you on the net. Good Luck

A: Not 3/4. I believe it limits between 1/4 and 1/2 in. This saw has a very short arbor
by|Feb 25, 2021
A: I really do not know but I have a gut feeling the answer is NO. I have misplaced the booklet that came with the saw so I can not double check my answer but when i looked at the blade shaft it did not look long enough for dado blade set up. Call cuustomer service at Dewalt and maybe you can get a better annswer.

A: It sounds like you have dewalt DW 745. I went with the Dewalt table saw stand It,s mobile or rolling Price about$158.00.Ordered through Home Depot The number is Dewalt 744 ORS. It is a perfect match for my small shop . When I am not using it .I can fold the legs in and roll in the corner of the shop, after you put it upright. Had to use some longer bolts on attaching the saw to stand .

A: Unfortunately, as it was, it is not available anymore. Now it comes with a stand. I like mine because it does not have a stand. It is easy to carry and I put it on the ground for better stability. I glad I got mine before being forced to buy a stand.
