Q:What type of exhaust system is there for this planer?
by|Jul 3, 2023

Answer This Question
A: Since it's electric there is no exhaust. If you are asking about ship evacuation there is a large diameter port on the back of machine that will eject the chips. The planer will not come with anything to catch the chips and you have to devise your own solution if you don't want chips shot all over the place. Most shop dust collections are not suitable for collecting chips. I used some PVC to feed into a very large special dust collection bag. It fills up quickly and needs emptied regulary.
