A:  Turn water off, remove handle, use water pump pliers on the bigger collar. Should come right out.

    A:  Thank you for contacting Danco. We suggest you use a 6-point socket of the appropriate size of the stem to remove the stem.

      A:  You would need to check the part numbers. This is model fits Eljer 4788 faucets.

        A:  Thank you for reaching out to us. You will need to pull out your old stem and match it up with this one. If you have a Eljer faucet model 4788 this will be the cold sided stem for you. If you are not sure we suggest taking your old stem up to the store to match the stem with our Perfect Match book.
