A:  Thank you for your interest in Danco products. Unfortunately this tub spout will not fit on PVC pipe. It is for a 1/2" copper pipe slip connection.

A:  Thank you for choosing Danco products. Danco Tub Spout Slip Connect 1/2 part # 89162 will work with a 1-3/4" stub out at the wall on up to 3-1/4".

A:  Thank for inquiring about a Danco product. The stub out nipple has to be 2"-3" from the wall. You will need to replace your threaded nipple with a slip on nipple.

A:  You cut the pipe so the threading will be gone. Minimum distance is like... 2” I think they said but it’s probably fine with 1.5”
