Q:Just picked this item up at the store and reading the paperwork that came with it we discovered we should "not use on outdoor carpeting or wood surfaces." Our deck is wood, what will happen if we do use it outside on our wooden deck?

A:  Due to it being rubber is will stain the wood and the carpet this is why we do not recommend you using it directly on these surfaces.
