A: I don’t know the answer to your question but I use this ladder all the time. I am too lazy to determine the answer to your question. However, this is my favorite everyday ladder. It is easy to tote (relatively light weight plus a readily available handle). I love its height, portability, ease in transporting, and versatility in general. I wish I knew about this ladder before I bought some others as I use this ladder all the time!

Answer This Question
A: Reach height is based on a average of 4feet a person can reach beyond the safe working height of the ladder. 6 foot ladder thus 10 feet with reach. I hope this helps!

A: Neither do I. However, our ladder has a small platform that is about 4 ft. from the bottom. My height is 6'1" which allows me to reach items that are 10 ft. from the bottom. Hope this helps.

A: The ladder it’s self is 6’, when you are on the step you will be able (if you are 5’5” or taller) to reach up to 10 and a half feet to do a job.
by|Sep 26, 2019
A: It just means that when you are standing on the top step you can reach higher depending on how tall you are.

A: Yes you'll love this ladder, as with any ladder you'll need care in where you place it ( soft ground etc. ). The carry handle makes it nice to move around plus the trays for tools etc. not to mention the paper towel holder. I have about 6 ladders & would not part with this one, don't know why they don't sell it in their stores.

A: The Ladder is good for outside and inside, we really like the platform to stand on. Great item.

A: Sure, I used one to put up most of my Christmas lights.

A: The ladder is made of Aluminum. The plastic appears to have sun light stabilizers. Yes it can be used for the outdoors. Ours is strictly an indoor ladder. It saves me from going out to garage to get a ladder that collects much dust over time!

A: I use it frequently to access porch lights and to clean the transom window above the porch doors. It is lightweight so it is not a rugged ladder. It is rust free aluminum.

A: About 18 pounds. I had a much lighter 6' step ladder many years ago. I was on the third step once and the right leg collapsed. Luckily, I fell on the sodded lawn. Since then I've bought several sturdy step ladders that got left behind each time I moved. This step ladder is the best I have ever owned -- very sturdy, easily carried by the folding handle, handy tool tray on top, unique design. What is your concern with weight? Heavier is better!

A: It weighs about 18lbs, but it is the sturdiest ladder that I have ever used. When it's folded up, the handle locks it together to make carrying it a snap.

A: I don't know, but I am almost 80 yrs old & have moved it here & there around the house, in & out of the garage, etc. without much trouble. It is very solid.

A: First things first. This is a great ladder for all kinds of home improvement projects. I have painted my entire home interior, replaced ceiling tiles, hung blinds - you name it! This ladder is perfect for everything.
Now to answer your question - folded up it is only 2 1/2 inches at its widest.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Ron the depth of the ladder folded because of the rollers for the paper towel is 5 & 1/2 inch other wise the widest point is 5 inches at a hinge point. I love this ladder & all the features it has. Make sure you take it out of the box before you leave the store my first time around the ladder was damaged which I didn't findout until I got home. I should have know because the box showed some damage but took it back & reordered no problem.

Q:What is the size of the work tray: width and depth?
With ladder open, what is the distance between tray and floor?
I want to use the ladder as an audio visual stand. Projector on paint tray and computer on the top platform shelf.

A: The tray is 11" wide and 12" deep. The top step is 13" wide and 12" deep. This is the sturdiest, most well-made and easiest to use of any ladder I have ever owned. A lot of thought has been invested in the design and features. It is a few dollars more than most competition, but well worth it,
by|May 5, 2023
A: Width: 16 inches, Depth: 12 inches
distance between tray and floor when ladder is open: 45 inches
by|May 5, 2023
A: Coming out from the ladder the tray is about 11 inches wide & tapers out to about 10 & half inches. Given the tray is deep enough to hold a gallon can, has a couple of pockets for screws, nuts, bots etc. on either side, all back towards you plus a larger hole for a possible hammer & a couple of smaller ones. I think this is the best ladder I have ever bought given these features, light weight with a handle & a paper towel holder.....money more than well spent, Sorry the tray is about an inch deep.
