For cordless phones, wall or table, the handet and base unit must be tuned to the same frequency. Since this is not a cordless but a wired hanset phone, the signal will conduct from wall unit by conductor so the tuning of you cordless phones has no effect ib tiy wall phone operation; and it does not affect them either.

The value line is built to a lower cost and does not have a fully adjustable ringer and only has a few settings on the handset volume control. The US made phones have a 5 year warranty, the Value Line have a 2 year warranty.
