A:  This is our Premier shade sail

A:  I haven't had it long enough to observe it in the rain but the fabric does not appear it would give any protection from rain. It does give shade and light can penetrate. It is nice to be under in the Texas sun and heat.

A:  Our fabric is not waterproof and has small holes to allow the fabric to breathe and keep you cooler underneath and protect you from the harmful UV rays.

A:  There doesn't appear to be much stretch. The kit has (4) mounting brackets, (4) carabiners, and (2) turnbuckles. Perfect square (No), as the picture shows it is curved on all sides.

A:  This sail is a square and comes with 4 pad eyes;2 turnbuckles; and 2 snap hooks. Our fabric will stretch 5-8%.

A:  This sail is 17'9" on each side.
