    A:  Con-Tact Brand adhesive vinyl shelf liner is not designed for outdoor use. If you wanted to use it for a short term period of a week or two, it may work providing the surface you are covering is smooth, clean, and dry. This should be available on www.HOMEDEPOT.COM.

        A:  Con-Tact Shelf Liner is not designed to be used on a kitchen counter top. For a counter top, a heavier duty laminate covering in a Granite pattern would work best.

              A:  The mounting surface of vinyl shelf liner must be clean, dry, and smooth. With chips in your counter top, the surface does not sound like it is smooth and therefore, that could be an issue. Also, if the counter top is a "high use" counter top, using vinyl shelf liner may not provide the lasting solution to fixing your counter top.

                  A:  The mounting surface must be clean, dry, and smooth. Using this shelf liner may not cover protrusions on the interior bottom shelf of your cabinets. It would depend on the degree of the protrusions.
