A: I connected at least 4 with no problems.

A: Each lamp comes with a connecting wire so if your spacing is greater just connect the two connecting wires together. They have male and female plug ends.
Hope that helps

A: I had same 'issue'. Was not able to find longer wire. Ended up cutting off connector and splicing in matching twisted pair wire. Soldered and used shrink wrap to be safe. Not sure if this voided warranty.

A: There is only one existing cord but you can connect multiple light units with an extension cord that is enclosed. We were very pleased with this light which we installed under the overhead cabinet in our kitchen sink area.

A: Unfortunately, it only comes with a 12" connecting wire.

Q:specs say 350 lumens, is that on high or low? And how many lumens on the opposite end of that?

Answer This Question
A: The 350 lumens is on full power. The switch reduces it by 50% so it's 175 lumens on low.
The 24-inch model of the same light is exactly twice as powerful.
by|May 5, 2023
A: That's approx the same amount of light as a 25W bulb (1500 lumens= 100W Bulb) but if you have 2-3 under a cabinet I have found it to be sufficient light to work.

A: Sorry, I really don't know. It is a very nice light and really bright on the high setting.

Q:Would these work as fish tank lights in the hood where it is above the water?

Answer This Question
A: I would recommend using a waterproof 12v LED tape light. Safer for you and the fish.
by|May 5, 2023
A: I don’t know if the color of the light is correct for fish.
by|May 5, 2023
A: I don't know how well it will take the moisture from a fish tank. Maybe if it was installed behind the tank it would hold up?

Q:What size bulb does it use.

Answer This Question
A: There are no bulbs. This is an LED fixture and they are not replacable.
by|May 5, 2023
A: From what I see on these type of lights, the led bulbs are installed already in the fixture, and can not be replaced- they are supposed to last a very long time
by|May 5, 2023
A: The bulb is is built in. I think it has 1 million hours of life span so if and when it burns out you would just replace the light fixture itself. For the money it can't be beat.
by|May 5, 2023
A: Led light
by|Oct 16, 2018
A: Hi,
This fixture does not use bulbs in the traditional sense. LED means Light Emitting Diode, a solid state electronic device. In a strip fixture there are many LED’s that are wired together to give the designed light output.
Unless the unit gets stressed in some way (lightning strike, power surge, etc.) it should last a very long time.
I hope that this information is helpful to you
Regards,
Bill

Q:How do I punch out the metal to link my two lIghts

Answer This Question
A: There is an adapter with it and just remove plastic cover to use it. Lights sit side by side with no space between.
by|Mar 26, 2019
A: I used a small nail or pin to slide out the plastic plug.
by|May 5, 2023
A: I don't know about punching out metal...there is a female outlet at the other end with a plastic cap that the link cord fits into. The cap will pop out with a pocket knife or small screwdriver (make sure it is not plugged in!).
by|May 5, 2023
A: It can usually be pushed out fairly easily with a screwdriver
