Answer This Question

A:  Normal 2 prong plug [one wide one narrow leg]. Have to measure mine but without looking it's about 30 in or so.

by|Jun 28, 2019

A:  Yes, there is a standard AC plug on one end and a small female connector on the out end so you can daisy chain multiple lights together. I cut off the plug and hard-wired power to wall switch so all under cabinet lights would be powered by one switch. Worked out very well. U-shaped kitchen looks very elegant with under cabinet lighting the whole way around the room

by|Jun 29, 2019

A:  No, it’s a 2 prong connector with round pins. Not a standard outlet.

by|Jun 30, 2019

A:  Yes! It takes minutes to install!

    by|Jun 28, 2019

A:  Yes, the light has a cord and regular plug that uses a normal outlet

      Answer This Question

A:  You drill into the cabinet going up and run the wire around the microwave out of sight and then back down on the other side.

A:  These units come with a connector so u can daisy chain one Unit to another.

      by|Apr 16, 2019

A:  Each of the light strips come with a linking cord about a foot long. IF you want to go farther than that you would have to splice the wire or something. Maybe a little too risky for a homeowner? The lights do work really really well.

A:  According to Home Depot website, it comes in 9, 12, 18, 24, and 36 inch lengths. Depending upon where you are, it may or may not be in stock. If you have to special order, shipping is free to the store

            by|Feb 3, 2019

A:  GE and Lithonia offer longer strip lights, 36” and 48”, however they are more expensive. The 24” Commercial Electric units put out a lot of light and can be used for larger cabinets. Alternatively two or more can be connected together with the attached linking cords.

              Answer This Question

A:  If you get any "LED" light fixture, it will probably last longer than the house it's installed in. These devices use very little current and run very cool, Try them, you'll like them; be careful on what "Kelvin" rating LEDs you buy - I recommend a "2700K" LEDas they put out light similar to what everyone is used to and grew up with.

A:  Sorry, not sure! But if you call the store they should be able to tell you. I haven't had to replace build yet.

A:  I would put it on a wall with double stick tape. Don't know about the bottom of a cupboard, unless you trusted the tape and used a lot of it.

A:  It comes with a mounting clip and double stick tape, works fine.

                    Answer This Question

A:  Sorry, no it does not. These light strips can be daisy chained together. Input voltage is 120 V at 60 Hz. Each strip draws 11 W, so if you daisy chain 12 of them together, you will be drawing 130 W. No idea what the amperage is. Technically, you could attach an AC appliance to the end of one of these lights, but I recommend that you do not do that. You are better off installing a standard 1 or 2 gang wall outlet at 15 or 20 amps.

A:  No. The connector is unique to the lamp and will not receive the std 2-prong plug.

A:  We used this light underneath the cabinet above the kitchen sink. Unfortunately we have moved from that location so can't give the dimensions requested but I can tell you it was perfect for that location, especially since it had a low and high light capability.
