        Answer This Question

A:  Hi, As long as you go with the 3/4" and the panel is indoors, I don't think you will have any issues. It should be fine with this application. If you have more questions, you can reach me at alec.neugent@cfpwood.com.

Q:Hello, I am building a murphy table. If I have this cut to 4' x 3', will it be a good table top? Basically, just for eating so I can fold away to make more room for my child to play.

            Answer This Question

A:  Hi, The 3/4" Should work as a tabletop. I wouldn't go any thinner. You will need to apply a quality/durable finish. We are not able to custom cut 4x8's. We could ship you out a standard 4x4 for this application.

Q:Do you recommend a pre-stain product before staining?

              Answer This Question

A:  It's generally recommended to use a wood conditioner before staining birch to help achieve a more uniform finish, as birch tends to absorb stain unevenly. However, some stains include a conditioner, so check the product instructions first.
