A:  You are correct, the older versions have multiple LEDs. The current version, which should now be the only one available, has one LED and is the brightest model.

A:  Stan, yes, all of our lights have a lifetime warranty.

A:  The bottom screws off !

A:  rotate the end cap.

A:  How many batteries does this unit take.

A:  You unscrew the tail end of the flashlight, the part after the red ring. There are two AA batteries in the body of the handle.

A:  Miage, to open the flashlight, twist the tail cap of the light counterclockwise.

A:  Twist off the end where the switch is.

A:  Twist the end where you turn it on.

A:  Whatever the packaging say that comes with the flashlight. If the packaging say 330 lumens, that is what it is.

A:  I don't have any way to measure the brightness aside from what I see, but it is very bright on the first click. If you turn it on, then off then on again, it drops to a lower power. That may be the other lumen number. I don't worry so much about the numbers as how bright it is when I'm trying to see something.

A:  It is very bright. As I are my eyesight isn't what it used to be. I used it at work to look for defects in parts.

A:  Comparing it to HX5, in its focused mode, it is brighter and that light is rated at 130 Lumens the G25 spreads its light over a wilder field. So 83 is definitely wrong. The 330 may assume non-rechargable batteries and in face may be Lithium which run at a higher voltage. I use NMHi for my comparison in both.

A:  It has a High 330 lumen, and Low 80 lumen setting.

A:  First, the version I have will support Alkaline and NiMH batteries. Each of these has a different running voltage and current both of which can effect the light output and the run time. It is slightly brighter than the HX5 which I also have (also rated at 130 lumens). However it spreads its light over a wider area so the total lumens may be 330, but the light at the center 130. I like the unit, but the button switch at the end can come on very easily so I always PACK it with one of the batteries reversed. When I'm using it its fine.

A:  G25 flashlight can be 120 lumens or 330 lumenn depending on date of manufacture. you have to look at the packaging to get the correct value.

A:  Dan, the specs are out of date. The correct lumen output is 330 lumens.

A:  I can't mesure it exactly. Its about as bright as the HX5 130 so I think 120 is about correct. Its spread out more since it has two wide and two long LED's

A:  All I know is it is bright. It's not one of these that you have to strike a match to see if it is burning!

A:  Whatever is printed on the package containing the flashlight. Your package says 330 lumens; so that is what it is.

A:  Coast model numbers stay the same but their outputs may change as they are improved. The true output of a particular unit is printed on the packaging of that unit. You will have to look at the actual product or have Home Depot do so for you. I believe looking at the packaging of the unit will tell you the lumens of the product.

A:  Hi Archer the battery life is very good on this light . the one thing I will say is don't buy cheep batteries thank you for asking

A:  So far since I've had the flashlight since July, for camping, I have yet to change the batteries that came w/ it. I gone on 3 more camping trips and use it 3 times a week to feed dogs when I get home after sunset. I've dropped the flashlight a handful of times, on dirt, drive way, and rolled off my roof to the ground, and still works fine. Body is solid and sturdy, it has its little dings but light is not impacted at all. Its a BRIGHT flashlight and for the money, it was a good buy.

A:  Bill, we do not recommend using NiMH batteries with this light.
