Q:My G25 no longer lights, I assumed it needed new batteries, I can?t get the rear tip to unscrew. I went as far as trying to use pliers to unscrew it while using an adjustable wrench to hold the middle. Still can?t get it to budge, help!

Answer This Question
A: Hi Glen! The tail cap not removing from the G25 is a sign that the batteries corroded inside the flashlight, creating a seal where the tail cap can no longer be removed. While corrosion is not covered under our Lifetime Warranty, please reach out to our Customer Success team directly at 1-800-426-5858 or via email at support@coastportland.com for further assistance. A: You can buy a rechargeable battery directly from Coast Portland for it. I have several, and they work well... but this unit does not come with one.

A: Hi Clay! I do apologize for any confusion. The G25 flashlight is not a rechargeable flashlight. However, there is an optional rechargeable battery that will work with the G25 and is available for purchase on our website. All the best, Bobby - COAST Expert

A: I bought this Flashlight as a gift, so I have not actually operated it. However, by looking at its photo I would surmise you get to the batteries like any other flashlight, by unscrewing the bottom of the flashlight.

A: Opposite end of the flash light, just twist few times and pops up. Takes two Double AA batteries. Flash light is super bright, recommend check batteries it comes with or exchange w/ new ones, ones that came with, did corrode inside.

A: You unscrew the switch at the back. The long tube is the battery compartment. If you want to pack it so it won't come one while traveling, put a small bit of paper between the battery and the spring. Remove that when you need to use it. This will prevent it from turning on if its pushed while traveling..
