A: Yes, it can be painted.

A: Hello. The shelving is coated, & we do not recommend painting it. Painting it will also void the warranty. Thank you for your inquiry.

A: I used them in the closet. I didn't use the corners .I ran one end to the wall and the other side to the shelf to complete the corner . I used the studs to anchor the shelving

A: They are hard to find. They are near the floor, stacked horizontally in a shelf that runs under the main display.

A: Hello. We do not offer a corner shelf for Super Slide shelving. You will need to but one shelf up against the other and use a corner support where they meet. Here is the link for the corner support, item number 100100. Thank you for your inquiry.

Q:I purchased this style wire shelf and want to add a rod to hand clothes in the closet. However, I'm having problems with the support hanger for the rod. It installed in both ways to work with this wire shelf. Either the rod will be too close to the wall for a hanger or when turned around the rod hits the support bracket for the wire shelf itself. is there a specific support hanger I should be using so that the rod can be far enough from the wall for an adult size hanger? thank you

A: Mine was light grey. I did not see a nickel or white.

A: I have used it in three different colors. A near white, and two different grey tones. I have not seen it in black. The store does not always have the color i am looking for. But i understand it can be ordered for pickup at your store.

Q:What does 80 lbs maximum load mean? For the whole 96 inch length? I used maximum load hardware for hanging rack, brackets etc but used this because I wanted the 96 inch length. I have used 6 brackets to support.

A: Thank you for bringing this matter to our attention. The standard weight capacity for the shelftrack adjustable system, given that all the components (standards, hangtrck, etc.) are mounted to studs, is 75 lbs per linear foot of shelf.

Q:I want to place these wire shelves about my stove as cooling racks for cookie sheets and possibly frying pans. Three questions, then: 1) Can they withstand heat? 2) Can they be attached securely to a wall? 3) If attached securely to a wall, can they bear the weight of a frying pan with some food and cookie sheets with cookies? Thanks!

Answer This Question
A: Hi CheeseDiana,
The answers are no, no and no. They are not designed to withstand heat, they are for clothing. They are not strong enough or wide enough to hold a skillet, or a cookie sheet.
The bottom line is you need a real cooling rack that is strong and safe. This shelving will not fill the bill.

A: They're real strong. Bet it would. Vinyl coated steel. Looks similar to what fridge mfgrs use.
by|Sep 2, 2020
A: We have not experienced any issues with the vinyl shelving in freezing conditions but none of the plastic hardware would be acceptable in the freezing conditions for long term because they are plastic and become brittle at low temperatures.

A: If you have existing brackets in the freezer to hold shelf. I would think it would work fine. You would have to modify shelf to fit brackets. I would not recommend drilling any holes in the freezer walls. It could end up being very costly if you drill into any coolant lines behind internal walls.
by|May 3, 2023
A: I would think so. They are very strong and have a think coating on them.
