A:  Hello, Our shelving is not really tested to an extreme heat condition to see max heat it can withstand as it is not designed for high heat applications. Our shelving is designed for in home and garage use average temperatures so would safely say up to 125 degrees F. It is not designed to be placed in direct extreme heat ( i.e. used as an additional rack in an oven) or placed over open flame (i.e. rack for wood fire pizza oven). Thank you for your inquiry.

A:  Hello, The deck wires (smaller wires on top) are 1.00 on center spacing. But the actual, physical, space between them is 0.905" (or 29/32" to be exact) . Thank you for your inquiry.
