        Q:I have a carport with no doors, i.e. an open double car space. I would like to install some garage doors that are side-hinged and would open outward by hand (no garage opener). I don't know if you will see the same image I am viewing as I write this, but I am wondering if a p air of Clopay Gallery Collection 8 ft x 7 ft 6.5 R-Value insulated ultra-grain medium garage doors with SQ24 window can be used in this manner. I understand I'll have to construct the framework on which to hang the hinges? I would like each of the two carport spaces to open with cafe style doors that would be manually opened.

        A:  Charlie, we don't recommend using these doors as swing out style doors. They are designed and engineered to operate as a standard upward acting door.                     Q:How can I get replacement window grids for this model with SQ24 window? I have had the door for 10 days and one window grid is already warped and doesn't sit on the window any more. Also do you sell wooden widow grids or anything more substantial than the platic ones that came with this door. They are very flimsy and I'm afraid more will continue to warp. Thank you in advance,
