A:  this particular pipe is plain end and not belled so it does not have a "connector." You could get a coupling to help with joining two pieces of pipe together.

A:  If you look in the "Specification" portion of the part on the Home Depot website you will see that the pipe is "dual rated" meaning it can be used for Pressure and/or Drain, Waste and Vent applications. Also located there you will see that when combined with the correct fittings (Sch 40 pressure) it can be used for pools. A:  A two-year study was undertaken to quantify the effects of UV radiation on the properties of PVC pipe. The study found that exposure to UV radiation results in a change in the pipe’s surface color and a reduction in impact strength. Other properties such as tensile strength (pressure rating) and modulus of elasticity (pipe stiffness) are not adversely affected.
