A:  Each cooking grate is 19.8 inches by 6.8 inches, for a total cooking surface of 830 square inches! Thank you!

      A:  It has an upper rack that could remove for large items, I have smoked a 9 lb. pork roast and it fit something lager the upper would need to be removed.

                        A:  Good afternoon. Thank you for your email. The only differences are which retailer has each model and cosmetic features. The 2828 has a basket in the front and a wooden side shelf. The 2222 only has a wooden side shelf with nothing in the front. The 2727 has a metal side shelf. Thank you!

                            A:  The barrel is thick enough to hold heat, and lasts. I've had the grill for 3 yrs. Had to have some help, putting it together. I love it. Well worth it.
