A: CHANNELLOCK product has not used a nut and bolt since 1984, it uses a permanent fastener. These have not been supplied for quite some time.

A: I’m not for sure . But I do not think Chan-o’ lock are lifetime Guarantee With that being said craftsman makes nowhere near a set of pliers Or channel locks As the CoL brand. Don’t get me wrong craftsman is a well respected brand of tool. But not in this category Tank You Always ,Raeford Hinson

A: To be honest ,I, have yet to have to rely on a warranty. IA am fairly sure that their warranty is reasonable . As for the brand that you named .... that brand in, my humble opinion, is JUNK . I will not waste my hard earned dollar on that brand ever again !!! Channellock to me, ( especially their slip joint pliers ), is the " gold standard ".

A: Not exactly. Craftsman if it's broke they replace. For channellock they have stipulations to get the tool replaced. Here is the link to channellocks website that can help explain the warranty. https://www.channellock.com/warranty/

A: don't know about a lifetime warranty, but at 79 years of age, being an active DIYer all my life, having used Channel Locks for more years that I care to admit, I've never had a problem, just a great tool
