Q:can i fit a 6ins ducting on the output and input ports, is it very noisy ?

A: You can fit a 6" duct, but there is no good way to secure it. The opening has a neck to it so you can strap a flexible duct around it. I think if you want to use a metal duct run, it's best to use a soft piece of adapter to interface the two so any fan vibration won't get transferred to the metal duct. I measured the fan noise to be about 65dBA at 12" from the fan with no ducting. It's about the same as turning on your kitchen exhaust fan. The noise is like white noise, it does not have any high pitch whining sound nor rhythmic up and down noise cycles that can get annoying to someone.
