Q:The manual shows it's 14 1/8" wide at front and is tapered. What is rear width? The insides of my studs are 14" apart and need to route wiring up from bottom, and can make this work if it's tapered.

A:  Good Day, 14 1/8" is the width dimension at the back of the can where it is tapered, and 15" is the front dimension. Glen Dimplex Americas Customer Experience Team

    Q:141/4 width including the lip of this wall mount? is the back only 14" with out the front edge.

    A:  It has been a couple years since I installed it. As I recall, the can is square, not tapered so I would say the interior is 14 1/4 all the way. The heater sits on the surface of the wall and is larger all the way around. It screws into the box.
