A: Solid top & bottom rails on door, 1.75” thick, because door hardware must be recessed into a large horizontal cut into one side of door at top, & more hardware gets recessed into big slot under bottom of door.

A: Yes, that?s correct. Long channel for bottom track. Two cut outs for wheel housings. Remove most of the depth of a top section of the door for the top rolling bracket.

Q:What size concealed sliding track do I need for a 40 inch wide door?
Is it available at HD? Brushed nickel finish or equal.
Also need a concealed track for double 40 inch doors and double 38 inch doors.

A: This is the hidden track for a 40? wide door. Fitsa 36? max wall opening, & door obstructs 2 1/4? of the opening. 2 door 72? opening becomes 67.5? fully open!
No track hardware is visible: hence ?concealed.? Kits can be trimmed for 38? or 36? doors.
