A:  If you are digging a trench i would recommend our trench shovel, but this could be used to slice the edges of the trench. Use a shovel to remove the dirt.

A:  Yes, you can use it to lay cable. You step it into the ground, wiggle it to you then away from you to create a 1/2" wide trench. Move the tool and do it again 3 or 4 times, push the cable into the hole with a dowel or other blunt object and repeat. Use underground dog fence, landscape low voltage lighting wire, etc.

A:  This product is used for edging around sidewalks, driveways and the like. If you are digging a hole i would recommend one of our standard round point shovels or our floral spade if you would like a smaller tool.
