Q:I'm trying to replace a broken hinge on a face frame cabinet with a 1 1/4 inch overlay. Trying to not drill any new/other holes. I can see that on the door side of the broken one there are two screws which are 2 inches apart and on the cabinet side there is only one screw. Will this work? What other measurements do I need? I would assume I would need to measure from the edge of the cabinet to where the one screw on the cabinet side is or is that adjustable somehow? Picture attached of broken hinge. Thanks

Q:To be more specific, to which measurement does the 1-14 IN refer? Is it from top to bottom in the above photo? If so, which side on photo?

Answer This Question
A: Close your cabinet door. On the outside edge of the door (hinge side) make a pencil mark from that edge down so you can see it below the door. Now, open the door, and using a ruler, measure from the pencil line to the edge of the inside cabinet.
