A:  The distance from the outer edge of the table to the center of the hole for mounting is 25 5/8 “.

A:  My contractor installed this product - I asked him. So . . . second hand FYI - this product is integrated in terms of selected brackets, tested supported weight strength, and pull levers which raise and lower flat surface. Product may not be able to be warranteed if brackets (same or different) are bought separately. Conservative response - "Buying brackets separately - not recommended." I am totally satisfied with this product as is. If you are a highly skilled DYI person - you could consider alternatives.

A:  I do not know, but I thought of the same question. I have a butcher block top that I thought I could use. However after receiving the entire package with the top included, I realized that attaching the metal bracket to a separate top would be difficult. The top in the kit is routed out and has predrilled holes for a more precise attachment. Would be difficult for the average handyman to put together without the unique kit top or a template.

A:  Triangular and "L" self locking brackets are available from several different vendors but not from this manufacturer.

A:  I looked for the supports everywhere and could not find them sold separately. After getting the workbench and installing it in my garage, I can sort of see why they don't sell them separately because the measurements of the holes are very exact. What you could do and what I've thought about doing is just using another piece of wood for the workbench top and saving the one they send you until you beat up the one you put on, or vice versa.
