Q:The last time my basement walls were painted it was with a glossy Drylock paint. Can this product be painted over glossy surfaces?

Our coatings are not designed to get wet constantly or be submerged under water, as the coating will not hold up. I suggest looking into a specialty product for your project. A: Hi Tumbleweed, thank you for your question. Our Dry Plus Paint is not formulated to withstand foot traffic, and it can peel prematurely. For basement floors, you can use our Porch and Patio Floor Paint or 1-Part Epoxy. The surface should be sound, clean, dry, and etched until it feels like 150-grit sandpaper. Q:Is this product oil based or water based? Also, can I use this on recently mortared wall? I wanna seal in the wall and I'm not sure if your product may do the trick.

Q:Can this product be used on semi-crumbling basement brick? I have a 120 year old house and the basement brick is sort of crumbling creating fine brick dust on the floor. I would like to seal it. Can i paint right over it or do i need to prime it first?
