A:  Hi Qiao, Great question! As it turns out, Edgy Red (UL110-7) is a color that requires a tinted primer. I recommend having our Kitchen, Bath & Trim Stain-Blocking Primer tinted to Edgy Red and applying it before painting with Marquee. Please keep in mind that while Marquee does have a One-Coat Color Collection that guarantees full coverage in a single coat when applied to coated surfaces, not all Behr colors are included. As it turns out, Edgy Red is not a one-coat color and it may take multiple coats of paint to achieve full coverage. However, the tinted primer will help tremendously.
