A:  This is a waterproof (latex) which can be used on exterior wood. I;m not sure what you are referencing. I works great on decks and fences. Depending on which one you buy it lasts 2 years or 4 years. It is marked on the can.

A:  Hi jman. Thank you for your question. As it turns out, our DeckPlus Transparent Waterproofing Wood Finish is only for uncoated wood surfaces. Also, we don't have any clear wood coatings that can be used over painted surfaces. So I recommend working with your local store for suggestions on a clear topcoat that can be used for your painted wood porch. Have a nice day! -Joni

A:  You shouldn’t have to.

A:  No idea but i doubt it. It dries super quick.

A:  The pump sprayer will work fine providing it's in good working condition and develops a good uniform spray pattern with good overlap, try test spraying on cardboard to see the material build and the pattern , if it's crummy your on your own. 

A:  Hi TimeRanger - Thank you for your question. We don't recommend applying this product with a pump sprayer. To ensure a long-lasting finish, it's best to apply this wood finish with an airless sprayer or conventional paint sprayer if you prefer the spray method. It can also be applied with a pad applicator or brush. Best - Sar

A:  I did try it for awhile, but I had to brush it out as it did not spray evenly.  If you have someone who could follow you it might work better.
