A:  Hi Pamela, thanks for the question. It would take approximately 5 gallons of the stain to cover 864 square feet with 2 coats. Additionally, you would need 3 gallons of the All-In-one wood Cleaner to clean the fence prior to staining. The stain is opaque, similar to paint, so it will cover the existing color, but won't hide defects in the wood. A:  Hi Brandon, thank you for your question. To prep the wood, we recommend using the Wood Stain and Finish Stripper to remove loose wood fibers on new and weathered wood. Then, use the All-In-One Wood Cleaner No. 63 and allow the wood to dry completely before coating. Good luck with your project! -Giovanna
