Please keep in mind that this unit has a laminate surface, you may be able to consult with a Home Depot associate for prep instructions prior to painting and recommended primer + paint.                   Q:Are the shelves adjustable to fit only CDs throughout the entire unit? In other words, are there holes all the way down the inside of the unit to adjust the shelves any way you'd like?
