                  A:  Yes, I did it without removing the roof I had to lean over and have a helper on the inside to make sure that the new metal joist lined up with drill hole and screw.

                          A:  Yes, the RBK1012 beams will work with this unit. The RBK1012 does not have roof paneling only the beams.

                            A:  To "community", My question wasn't answered because of course it will fit a 10x12, that wasn't my question. If home depot could answer please...I'm not strengthening my roof I'm replacing it. I need to know if this kit can be used as replacement beams.
